For over two decades, Luv(sic) has stood as one of the most influential collaborations in independent hip-hop. Created by Shing02 and the late producer Nujabes, the six-part series has inspired listeners around the world with its timeless blend of thoughtful lyricism and soulful production.

This October, Shing02 and Spin Master A-1 bring the complete Luv(sic) Hexalogy experience to Latin America for a rare run of live performances. Joined by special guest Sam Nakamura, the tour will feature iconic songs, deep cuts, and an unforgettable celebration of the music and culture that continue to connect generations of fans worldwide.

Born in Tokyo, raised in Tanzania and England, Shing02 came up in the SF Bay Area scene

in the early '90s. Over the course of his independent career starting in 1995, he has collaborated

with various musicians, most notably with the late Japanese producer Nujabes.

Shing02 & SPIN MASTER A-1 have been touring actively with the title “Luv(sic) Hexalogy”,

featuring various musicians and bands around the globe, including The Either from Shanghai,

and OMA from UK. Currently the tour features New Zealand artist Sam Nakamura on the guitar

SPIN MASTER A-1 is a sound creator, DJ, and turntablist who has released several albums as a

producer. Recent works include “246911” with Shing02, “Rashinban", an album under his own

name, as well as a series of breakbeat albums such as "B-BOY IN THE SAMURAI SHADOW".

A-1 has also been involved in a wide range of activities, including music production for global

footwear giant NIKE Japan’s promotional video "WAMONO" and highly-acclaimed stop-motion

animation "HIDARI" pilot, released in 2023 and currently in production for a feature length

project. When not on tour with Luv(sic) Hexalogy, SPIN MASTER A-1 is currently updating his

live performance and music production by incorporating drum machines.

Sam Nakamura

Sam Nakamura is a guitarist originally from Tokyo, now based in Auckland, New Zealand.

With a distinctive tonal palette that spans reverb-soaked, saturated cleans to soaring, gritty

lead lines, Sam’s playing is characterised by rich chord-melody work, Japanese/Eastern inflec-

tions, and melodic use of harmonics.

Alongside his work as a session player, Sam works in songwriting and production. His musical

foundation is rooted in jazz performance, which informs an expressive style shaped by strong

influences from R&B, soul, and hip-hop.

He has performed and recorded with a wide range of artists across genres, including Teeks,

Janine, Aaradhna, Guy Sebastian, and Rob Ruha.
